Scaleo is a universal affiliate marketing platform (affiliate tracker/engine) developed to help businesses create and run their own affiliate program or affiliate network. Previously, the platform was optimised mainly for affiliate networks, but thanks to recent development and a redesign, it is now possible to set up both for affiliate agencies with multiple offers and for direct brands that would like to create their own referral program.
The platform has three different accesses for its users: Admin, Affiliate, and Advertiser dashboard. All of them contain visual information about the general network performance. Main platform sections with all of the functionality can be found in the left sidebar, e.g. Offers, Reports, Billing, News, etc.
If the program will be managed by several people, it is possible to add all of them as Teammates in the Settings of the platform and assign different roles: Admin (has access to all of the platform features and users), Managers (general manager with the full rights but no access to the platform Settings), Affiliate and Advertiser managers (they work with their user groups correspondingly). If these default roles do not suit you, there is an option to create a custom role or adjust the existing one, also in the platform Settings:
Admin dashboard provides access to the Affiliates and Advertisers lists that can be found in the corresponding sections on the left:
The potential affiliates can easily sign-up to the platform through the default Scaleo sign-up form. It is possible to find a sign-up form constructor in the Settings > Sign Up Page, where one can add required, optional, and custom fields to the form, define the sign-up process from the affiliate side (Without approval, by email verification, or through the manager’s manual approval), and get the sign-up link:
When this link is shared with the affiliates, they will be redirected straight to the sign-up form after they click the link:
This page can be white-labeled to some extent. One can add a custom logotype instead of Scaleo. Both the platform, sign-up page, and affiliate tracking links can be customized with a company domain instead of Scaleo default ones.
After the affiliate account has been created, this affiliate’s details can be found in the affiliate card
To access a specific affiliate dashboard, it is necessary to click the Login as Affiliate button under the affiliate name, and it redirects the manager straight to this affiliate account.
This dashboard contains a few major sections with the possibility of customization. E.g., the admin can hide or add specific metrics to the dashboard and in the reports. It is possible to add Additional Pages (Christmas Bonus page on the screenshot).
The Affiliate dashboard is also available in a dark theme.
In case of any network updates, it is possible to share any announcements with the Affiliates through the Outbound section in the Admin area. An added announcement is displayed on the Affiliate dashboard - News section.
To get an Affiliate tracking link, your partner needs to go to the offer card and find a link inside:
Affiliates can see their performance in the Reports (where they see aggregated information) and Transactions (information about each click, conversion, and postback logs)
Actual information about the amount to be paid, Invoices history, and payment statuses is contained within the Affiliate Billing section. The affiliates can also add and update their payment details (if needed).
Another option for the affiliates to earn through the program is to invite new referrals if such an option is activated in the Settings of the admin account. Then each partner has his referral link and can earn a certain % out of their referral’s income.
All the managing processes happen in the Administrator dashboard in its different sections which are to be reviewed below. Before or simultaneously with the new affiliates and advertisers, network managers need to create offers. A new offer can be added in the Offers section.
It is necessary to add an offer title, select the Advertiser, add a Landing page where the users will be redirected to after they click the affiliate link, and select a Payout model:
- CPL (Cost per lead) for new registrations, sign-ups, email subscriptions, etc;
- CPA (Cost per action) - fixed payout for any targeted action on the Advertiser side: deposit, sale, booking an appointment, and others;
- CPS (Cost per sale, %) - revenue share, percentage out of the order amount;
- CPI (Cost per install) - is used in mobile marketing to track app installs.
There are also a few metrics specific to the iGaming industry which can also be used for Trading and Fin. Products vertical. They are the following:
- REG - for tracking player’s or trader’s account opening;
- DEP CPA - for tracking the First-time deposits;
- DEP RevShare - allows paying % out of the Deposit amount.
These metrics allow to see conversion rates of such goals separately and have an extensive Gaming Report. Affiliates will also be able to see such details if this special Reports type is activated in Settings.
After these first few fields were filled in, and the offer has been created, a few other changes should be done within the offer card. It is necessary to check for a correct tracking method: cookie-based (IMG, iFrame, or jаvascript pixel), postback tracking, or direct links.
Scaleo allows specifying GEO targeting for a campaign and some other rules for targeting like Device type, Devise OS/model, Browser, Language, and other conditions. A great opportunity to manage individual affiliates’ payouts can be found under the Customer Parameters section. In this section it is possible to set general custom payouts or change them according to some pre-determined conditions, e.g. a different payout will be applied if the customer is coming from a specific country.
After the offer card has been created, and the affiliates grabbed their links, managers can track offers performance in the Reports (general, daily, monthly, affiliates, advertiser reports, etc.)
The Transactions section contains technical details of each click and conversion, e.g. date, time, country, device of the user, and other metrics that can be selected in this Transactions part.
The Billing on the Admin side is managed through the Affiliate Billing section where one can generate individual or bulk invoices for the specified time period and then manage invoices statuses. After payment has been made, it is necessary to mark an invoice as Paid, and the billing period will be reset for this particular partner.

System preferences can be added in the Settings of the platform. For example, set Branding, customize the sign-up page, and add extra security through the 2FA.
In case the system is to be run by a few people, it is possible to add them as your Teammates and assign roles to them:
- Admin (has access to the whole platform)
- Manager (has access to all features and users with no access to the Settings)
- Affiliate or Advertiser Manager (works with their user groups: affiliates or advertisers)
These roles can be customized or the new ones can be added in the Roles and Permissions - starting from the Enterprise package.
Scaleo can be adjusted even more for various cases, and its account managers will be happy to provide all the necessary support and explanations. Feel free to get acquainted with the software pricing and take a look at its public Roadmap to see what’s coming soon and even submit your ideas there.
